I envision a Washington County where every family can settle down, raise children, and build a future. I want to make diverse housing options that are affordable, keep utility bills manageable, and create good, living-wage jobs, and build a ladder of opportunity. My goal is a community where everyone feels welcome, safe, and empowered to make a difference.
I’m running to deliver accountable leadership that respects every public dollar—investing in safer streets, clean water, affordable housing, and programs that benefit all.
I will make sure that Washington County works for everyone while being sustainable, financially responsible, and accountable.
-
Affordability
Families are facing unprecedented costs and it’s too expensive to plan a future here. I am committed to expanding diverse housing options that are within reach and implementing utility assistance programs to ease the burden. By helping families establish stable homes, ensuring residents afford to live where they work, and maximizing every taxpayer dollar, we can build a stronger, more inclusive county for everyone.
-
Economic Development
As economic uncertainty continues to affect our community and the state as a whole, it is more important than ever to prioritize the creation of living wage jobs and use tax incentives responsibly. Additionally, I will expand workforce development programs by building innovative partnerships with local businesses, educational institutions, and other governments. Together, we can foster new opportunities and strengthen our local economy for everyone.
-
Infrastructure
Infrastructure is a core responsibility of local government. I will fund safe streets, protected natural spaces, and vibrant parks. When infrastructure is well-funded, it makes daily life more convenient and ensure future generations inherit a well-managed government. Moreover, effective infrastructure investment should be leveraged to spur new development throughout our community.
-
Sustainability
When making decisions, we need to think about the long term. We need to plan and act to make a better County and planet for future generations. I will work to make Washington County more sustainable community where we are stewards of our environment, our assets, and our community.
-
Community Involvement
We create a good County when everyone is at the table crafting policy. That starts with cultivating trust with community members through consistent engagement and making people feel involved our community’s direction. I will work to create meaningful opportunities and transparent communication. When more people help with molding policies, we create a stronger community.
-
Land Use
I believe that we need to look at every land use decision as a microcosm to the larger picture of sustainability of our environment, economy, and livability. Right now, families across Washington County are facing unprecedented costs. It’s too expensive to plan a future here. Housing costs are skyrocketing and economic prospects are diminishing. We need to look at land as a way to help ameliorate these issues and use it in a way that promotes smart growth and long-term sustainability.
-
Data Centers
Data centers should not be incentivized, they should be taxed and expected to pay and mitigate their impact on community. I will work to ensure that the County focuses on smart development, using tax breaks to achieve policy goals like good living-wage jobs and efficient land use.

Other Ideas
I have a lot of ideas of what we can do to make things better, but my goal is to work with every resident to better Washington County. I want to get ideas from everyone in the community. It is inevitable that we will face unexpected issues. When that happens, I will make sure I inform myself and get input from everyone around me so we can make the best choices together.
